Two of our brothers, Katey Veade, a senior, and Tegan Billiot, a junior, are both accounting majors who are involved in the LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business Diplomats for Diversity. On its initial visit to the National Diversity Case Competition, the Tiger Paw Solutions team placed third. For finishing third, Tiger Paw Solutions took home $3,000 from the $20,000 prize pool. More than 200 business schools submitted entries to the competition and the top 34 were invited to the event.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be part of a team that accomplished third place in a very competitive event,” Billiot said. “To be chosen as one of the 34 schools selected from across the nation, to compete in a case competition for the very first time and win third place, it has been an incredibly surreal experience. It was exciting and enlightening to meet so many other diverse students and employers. Just the preparation and networking opportunities made this trip worth it.”
We congratulations our two astoundingly well-rounded brothers for their achievement, thank them for the hard work they continue to put forth for the chapter, and wish them great success in the future.
